This inaugural sustainability report represents a significant milestone in our ESG journey, with our comprehensive assessment primarily centered on our Sri Lankan operations, which serves as our primary hub where the majority of our workforce is based. As we advance our sustainability excellence, Mitra is strategically expanding our environmental impact measurement capabilities to encompass a broader spectrum of Scope 3 emissions, reinforcing our commitment to comprehensive environmental stewardship.

In 2024, Mitra’s total greenhouse gas emissions (GHG) amounted to 115.0 tonnes CO₂e. This measurement reflects our commitment to understanding and reducing our environmental impact across all areas of operation.

Our emissions calculation methodology follows the Greenhouse Gas Protocol standards, utilizing activity-based data for Scope 1 and Scope 2 emissions, activity and spend-based analysis for Scope 3 emissions.
