Moneta Money Bank faced significant challenges with its legacy Oracle FlexCube platform. While the system reliably handled around 40 million daily calls and supported core banking operations, it had become a constraint to growth and innovation:
Limited agility and decentralized development: The platform did not support parallel or distributed development, slowing the delivery of new products and features.
High maintenance and integration complexity: Connecting the legacy system with other applications and platforms was time-consuming, costly, and error-prone.
