Job specific duties & responsibilities:
- Liaise with customers, business analysts, product owners and other project stakeholders in order to understand the business requirement
- Carry out detail technical designing in consultation of architects and tech leads
- Implementation of the technical design including coding, calling existing services, creating new components etc.
- Testing of different types including unit and integration testing
- Carrying out deployment into test, UAT and production environments
- Adhering to engineering principals, design, coding, implementation and deployment standards
Required competencies, experience and skills:
General
- Thorough knowledge in software engineering
- Skills in object-oriented programing, design patterns, service-oriented architecture, integration patterns, industry accepted cloud platforms & services etc.
- Minimum three years’ experience in software engineering
- Team player
- Ability to communicate effectively with different project stakeholders
- Depending on the technology track position holder belongs to, he or she will have master one or combination of following areas
.NET
- Expert on Web Services and related technologies(SOAP/REST)
- Very good understanding on SOA
- Core C# Features (Tuple, Extension Methods, Lambda, Anonymous Functions
- Concurrent Programming (Task-based Asynchronous Pattern- TAP, Manage/Unmanaged thread pools)
- XML Transformations Techniques (XML Parsing, XSLT, XSL-FO)
- Unit Testing Exposure – Advance (NUnit/XUnit along with mocking, coverage)
- Loggins and Exception Framework Exposure – Advance
General Responsibilities
Flexibility: The post holder may be required to work at any of the Mitra sites in line with service & operational needs. The post holder may be required to undertake such other duties temporarily, or on a continuing basis as may be required commensurate with this role. This may include periods of time working on client premises and / or internationally.
