JOB-SPECIFIC RESPONSIBILITIES

  • The design and development of enterprise solutions for the world’s largest foodservice company
  • Implement distributed and highly available enterprise applications that scale for enterprise demands
  • Adhere to Continuous Integration and Continuous Delivery of solutions
  • Ensure high code quality by following software engineering best practices
  • Work collaboratively in a cross-functional team in an Agile delivery environment
  • Adhere to DevOps principles and be involved in projects throughout their full software lifecycle: from development, QA, and deployment to post-production support

REQUIRED COMPETENCIES, QUALIFICATIONS AND EXPERIENCE

  • A Bachelor’s Degree in Computer Science or equivalent, and 2 – 4 years of experience developing production enterprise applications, and managing teams
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
  • Minimum 2 years of experience in ReactJS-based Web Development
  • Excellent understanding of client-side state management and side-effect handling
  • Excellent understanding of asynchronous programming and efficient browser resource management
  • Excellent understanding of coding best practices, unit/integration testing, API design and integration
  • Understanding of backend technologies will be an added advantage
  • Familiarity with working in a Scrum Agile delivery environment
  • Familiarity with Quality Engineering processes and practices

General Responsibilities

Flexibility: The post holder may be required to work at any of the Mitra sites in line with service & operational needs. The post holder may be required to undertake such other duties temporarily, or on a continuing basis as may be required commensurate with this role. This may include periods of time working on client premises and / or internationally.
