JOB SPECIFIC DUTIES & RESPONSIBILITIES

  • Work in an L3 support role when needed managing ticket escalations and Troubleshoot complex issues in production systems
  • Adhere to continuous Integration and Continuous Delivery of solutions
  • Work with overseas and onsite teams to resolve issues
  • Fix and deploy hot fixes for minor production issues
  • Ensure high code quality by following software engineering best practices
  • Work collaboratively with overseas and onsite teams in an Agile delivery environment
  • Adhere to DevOps principles and be involved in projects throughout their full software lifecycle: from development, QA, and deployment to post-production support
  • Work with business stakeholders to gather requirements, issues and tasks

REQUIRED COMPETENCIES, QUALIFICATIONS, AND EXPERIENCE

  • Bachelor’s degree in software engineering or equivalent and 1-2 years of experience working in a development related role
  • Excellent communication skills
  • Good understanding of Node.JS, TypeScript and competent in python
  • Experience in development within AWS tech stack
  • Ability to troubleshoot production systems based off of AWS
  • Experience in SQL, performance tuning of SQL, and RDBMS technologies would be an added advantage
  • Familiarity with working in a Scrum Agile delivery environment

General Responsibilities

Flexibility: The post holder may be required to work at any of the Mitra sites in line with service & operational needs. The post holder may be required to undertake such other duties temporarily, or on a continuing basis as may be required commensurate with this role. This may include periods of time working on client premises and / or internationally.
