JOB SPECIFIC DUTIES & RESPONSIBILITIES

  • Design and implement a Data Warehouse (DWH) solution to support customer profiling initiatives
  • Develop data mapping and data models to ensure efficient data storage and retrieval for customer profiling
  • Collaborate with stakeholders to gather requirements and define data warehouse architecture based on business needs
  • Lead the implementation of the data warehouse solution, including ETL processes, data integration, and data transformation
  • Ensure data quality and integrity by implementing data validation and cleansing procedures
  • Optimize data warehouse performance and scalability to accommodate growing data volumes and user requirements
  • Provide technical guidance and support to team members and stakeholders throughout the data warehouse implementation process
  • Stay abreast of industry trends and best practices in data warehousing, data modeling, and customer profiling techniques
  • Work closely with data engineers, analysts, and business users to understand data requirements and ensure alignment with business objectives
  • Document technical specifications, data models, and data mapping for the data warehouse solution

 

REQUIRED COMPETENCIES, QUALIFICATIONS, AND EXPERIENCE

  • Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, or a related field; Master’s degree preferred
  • Proven experience as a Data Warehouse Architect or similar role, with expertise in designing and implementing data warehouse solutions
  • Strong knowledge of data modeling concepts and techniques, including dimensional modeling and data normalization
  • Hands-on experience with data integration tools and ETL processes, such as Informatica, Talend, or SSIS
  • Proficiency in SQL and database technologies, including Oracle, SQL Server, or PostgreSQL
  • Experience with cloud-based data warehouse platforms, such as Amazon Redshift, Google BigQuery, or Snowflake
  • Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to translate business requirements into technical solutions
  • Strong communication and collaboration skills, with the ability to work effectively in cross-functional teams
  • Proven track record of delivering high-quality data warehouse solutions on time and within budget
  • Relevant certifications, such as Certified Data Management Professional (CDMP) or Certified Data Warehouse Architect (CDWA), are a plus

General Responsibilities

Flexibility: The post holder may be required to work at any of the Mitra sites in line with service & operational needs. The post holder may be required to undertake such other duties temporarily, or on a continuing basis as may be required commensurate with this role. This may include periods of time working on client premises and / or internationally.

Confidentiality, Data Protection, Freedom of Information and Computer Misuse: All staff must ensure confidentiality and security of information dealt with in the course of performing their duties. They must comply with and keep up to date with Mitra policies and legislation on confidentiality, data protection, freedom of information and computer misuse. Any matter of a confidential nature, particularly information relating to customers or other members of staff, must not, under any circumstances, be divulged or passed on
to any unauthorized persons. This duty extends after employment ceases.

Communication: All staff should be able to communicate effectively and in line with Mitra style of communications.
