Technical Program Manager
Job Specific Duties & Responsibilities:
- A deep technical understanding of integration tools and platforms from vendors like IBM, Oracle, Microsoft, and open-source solutions
- Familiarity with middleware technologies and integration platforms
- Project management experience in high complex distributed systems
- Project management experience in integration testing, regression testing, and data validation is important for ensuring the reliability of integration solutions
- Functioning as the main contact point for customers and other project stakeholders for projects coming under the job holder’s purview.
- Managing resource allocation and resource mobility across projects.
- Ensure delivery of multiple projects coming under the same program as per the time, cost, and quality expectations by coordinating project managers work effectively.
- Authorizing the program on the basis of its mandate and business case.
- Resolving cross-program issues and strategic issues with senior stakeholders.
- Monitoring utilization of budgets and taking appropriate preventive and corrective actions
- Project/Program tracking and status reporting
- Contribute to pre-sale activities
- Representing the company in project steering committee meetings.
- Leads program/project management delivery including planning, communication, and execution
- Creates and maintains comprehensive project documentation including detailed work plans, schedules, project estimates, resource plans, and status reports
- Defines project milestones, establishes timelines, monitors and tracks project progress, solves complex problems within established guidelines, and escalates risks and issues to
management as needed - Organizes and sets clear expectations in regard to tasks and deliverables required. Manages the timely progression of the project
Requirement Competencies, Qualifications & Experience:
- Bachelor’s degree in computing/IT or business management.
- 8+ years’ experience in program management handling large-scale projects
- Sound knowledge on Agile/Scrum framework.
- Professional qualifications preferably PMP/CSM.
- Ability to understand the requirements of different business domains and technicalities of software engineering.
- Ability to communicate effectively with different project stakeholders.
General Responsibilities
Flexibility: The post holder may be required to work at any of the Mitra sites in line with service & operational needs. The post holder may be required to undertake such other duties temporarily, or on a continuing basis as may be required commensurate with this role. This may include periods of time working on client premises and / or internationally.
