JOB SPECIFIC DUTIES & RESPONSIBILITIES:
- Liaise with business analysts, product owners and others in order to understand the business requirements.
- Carry out detail technical designing of software solutions.
- Estimate effort and resource requirements for software projects.
- Implementation of the technical design including coding, calling existing services, creating new components etc.
- Ensure engineering principles and related processes are adhered to.
- Mentoring junior members by Identifying possible knowledge and skill gaps and guiding them to bridge those.
REQUIRED COMPETENCIES AND SKILLS:
- Thorough knowledge in software engineering including OOP Concepts
- Skills in object-oriented programing, design patterns, service-oriented architecture, integration patterns, industry accepted cloud platforms & services etc.
- Five years’ experience in software engineering with exposure tcloud computing and integrations
- Good educational background preferably a degree in computer science /software engineering /IT
- Team player
- Ability to draw UML diagrams
- Ability to communicate effectively with different project stakeholders
Depending on the technology track position holder belongs to, he or she will have master one or combination of following areas:
- C#.Net 4.7 and above
- Concepts in ASP.NET MVC
- Relational database concepts and experience with any of the following MS SQL Server,
- Postgres, or similar
- Experience with JavaScript frameworks such as Angular, React.JS, or Vue.JS
- Expert on Web Services and related technologies (SOAP/REST)
- Very good understanding on SOA
- Core C# Features (Tuple, Extension Methods, Lambda, Anonymous Functions)
- Concurrent Programming (Task-based Asynchronous Pattern- TAP, Manage/Unmanaged thread pools)
- XML Transformations Techniques (XML Parsing, XSLT, XSL-FO)
- Unit Testing Exposure (NUnit/XUnit along with mocking, coverage) (beneficial to have)
- Loggins and Exception Framework Exposure – Advanced (beneficial to have)
- Build Tool / Packaging knowledge (beneficial to have)
- Exposure tLowCode/NoCode Frameworks is an added advantage
General Responsibilities
Flexibility: The post holder may be required to work at any of the Mitra sites in line with service & operational needs. The post holder may be required to undertake such other duties temporarily, or on a continuing basis as may be required commensurate with this role. This may include periods of time working on client premises and / or internationally.
