If you’re interested in what WSO2 technology has to offer then this is the conference for you. Not only will you get to learn about how enterprises are winning with cutting edge technology using the WSO2 platform, but you’ll also get to hear Ashok Suppiah share his own thoughts about WSO2 during a live panel discussion during day two.
Mitra’s expansion into Northern Ireland
In recent months Mitra has dived into the Northern Ireland entrepreneurial and technology markets by helping the likes of Kraydel, IOTA, Replify, PathXL and Modern Democracy Limited. These companies are either established and successful, but looking to grow. Or they have just launched and want to make waves in their respective industries. Mitra has been helping them with new technology, as well as business and growth plans. Take a look at our new Portfolio page. We’ll feature detailed stories about each of these companies in future newsletters.

Mitra has recently published three articles for tech entrepreneurs wanting to learn how to get their business off the ground, or grow an existing business. If you’re a tech entrepreneur and you want to know more, read the articles here:
Happy Birthday Mitra!
In recent months Mitra celebrated its fourth birthday. We’re still quite a young company but we’re growing in numbers all the time, both in terms of employees, office locations and valued customers.
We now have an office in Tower 42 in the City of London, as well as two offices in Sri Lanka. We also have 62 team members and we expect to be at 100 by Christmas. Our client list is also growing as we take on more and more entrepreneurs wishing to grow their businesses, or established companies wanting our support to help them innovate technologically, and/or take advantage of WSO2 capabilities.
Modern technology for a modern democracy
In early-May the London Mayoral election, the Police and Crime Commissioner Elections, and Local Council elections took place in the UK, and Mitra played a part. How? We helped a company called Modern Democracy Limited to develop election management technology – built using the WSO2 platform – for some polling stations in Yorkshire and Scotland.
Mitra Client – Kraydel – reaches final of Invent 2016
Kraydel is an innovative new business set up in partnership with Mitra which enables people to use technology to care for family members (who may be elderly and living at home), all from an app on their phone. Using biometrics and the Internet of Things, Kraydel leverages smartphone features to enable people to feel connected with their loved ones, for example the technology will alert loved ones if their elderly relative has fallen at home or forgotten to take their medication. The concept is very exciting and as such the business has just reached the finals of Invent 2016, the Northern Ireland Science Park’s prestigious annual competition, supported by Deloitte Digital.
The awards will take place in Belfast on 29 September 2016 and Mitra will be there to cheer Kraydel on.
Come on Kraydel! Let’s win!
