Mitra Innovation to Sponsor the IET 2017 Annual Dinner Charity Event in
Northern Ireland

Mitra Innovation will be sponsoring a charitable event organised by the IET (Institution of Engineering and Technology) Northern Ireland Network. Proceeds from the event will be donated to the Cancer Fund for Children.

The IET Northern Ireland Network provides a range of informative events for professional engineers in the region and acts as an opportunity for engineers to meet and network with one another.

The annual dinner, scheduled to take place on Thursday 23 March, is an evening dedicated to making a difference for children suffering with cancer. The event will take place in the Europa Hotel in Belfast, with guest speakers Naomi Climer and David Meade providing some after-dinner entertainment.

The Cancer Fund for Children is the leading local charity in Northern Ireland. Each week in Northern Ireland, three children – teenagers or young adults, aged between 0-24 years old – are diagnosed with cancer. The charity understands the devastating impact a cancer diagnosis and treatment can have on the whole family and provides practical, emotional and financial support to affected patients and their families.

Ashok Suppiah and Derek Bell, co-founders of Mitra Innovation and members of IET, are honoured to be able to contribute to a cause that can save the lives of children.
